EQUIPMENT
1 Gallon Freezer Bag
Ingredients
Add to Gallon Freezer Bag:
- 1.5 lb Chicken Breasts or tenderloin
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 Lemon juiced
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Parsley
- 1/4 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Dried Rosemary
- 1/8 tsp Thyme
Instructions
To Freeze and Cook Later:
- Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and date.
- Add all ingredients to the freezer bag. Mix well so that the chicken is evenly coated in spices and oil.
- Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal, and freeze for up to three months.
Grill:
- Thaw meal overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat grill to 400F.
- Take the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling.
- Grill chicken for 4-6 minutes per side or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
Oven:
- Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Take the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes prior to baking.
- Place the chicken on a greased 9x13-inch baking sheet. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
Air Fryer:
- Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400F for 15 minutes or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 165F.
Additional Instructions:
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
- Serve any way you prefer, such as in Gyros, on warm sandwiches, topped on salads, or on its own.
