EQUIPMENT

1 Gallon Freezer Bag

Ingredients
  

Add to Gallon Freezer Bag:

  • 1 1/2 lb Chicken Breasts cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 3 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Whole Grain Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

To Freeze and Cook Later:

  • Label your freezer bag with the recipe's name, cooking instructions, and date.
  • Add all ingredients to the freezer bag. Mix well so that the chicken is evenly coated.
  • Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal and freeze for up to three months.

Grill:

  • Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge. Pull the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling. Preheat the grill to 400F.
  • Grill chicken for 4-6 minutes per side or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

Oven:

  • Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge. Pull the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Place chicken on greased 9x13-inch baking sheet. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

Skillet:

  • Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge. Pull the chicken out of the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Heat a nonstick grill pan or skillet over medium heat with one teaspoon of olive oil. Sear chicken on each side until golden and crispy and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

Air Fryer:

  • Place the thawed chicken in an air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 400F for 15 minutes or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 165F.

Additional Instructions:

  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
  • Prepare a new batch of the honey mustard marinade above (without chicken) in a small bowl. Mix well and use it as a dressing to serve over salad.
  • Serve over a salad with tomatoes, avocado, crumbled bacon, corn, and onion and any other desired toppings.
