Freezer meal prep can be made easier with the right tools and supplies. While you can no doubt make do with whatever you have available to you, below are some kitchen tools that I frequently use when freezer meal prepping and always have on hand. Linked are my favorite brands that I have tried, tested, and use frequently.

Chef's Knife
Having a nice sharp chef’s knife is safer than having a dull one, and also makes meal prep a breeze!
Measuring Cups and Spoons
These measuring spoons fit inside small spice containers, even the tablespoons! I truly wonder why this is not the norm.
Bag Stands
In my opinion, these are completely necessary when meal prepping as they cut down on spills and the frustrations of trying to keep your bag open. I recommend having at least two of these.
Zester
Like the juicer, it’s yellow and happy, gets the job done, and takes up very little space.
Food Scale
I use a food scale when weighing out meat. I like this one because the display is at the front, so I can put the bag stand on top with a ziplock bag and easily see how much meat is in the bag.
Vegetable Peeler
These bad boys peel everything, from carrots and potatoes to effortlessly peeling butternut squash.
Reusable Freezer Bags
When freezer meal prepping, I go through a lot of gallon freezer bags. Having reusable bags helps cut down on that waste.
Vegetable Chopper
I love using this vegetable chopper when I bulk prep diced onions to freeze. I will usually buy 2-3 bags of onions and dice them all up at once, then place them into quart freezer bags. Now I only shed tears over onions every other month. The rest of the time, I pull out my frozen onions and just add what I need.
Food Thermometer
Great for when I am baking, grilling or air frying meats and need to make sure it’s cooked just right.
Instant Pot
Not only is this Instant Pot great for pressure cooking, but I also love it as a slow cooker!
