EQUIPMENT
1 Gallon Freezer Bag
Ingredients
Add to Freezer Bag and Mix Until Evenly Coated:
- 1 lb Raw Shrimp - large or extra large, peeled and deveined rinse and pat dry
- 1 1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
To Freeze and Cook Later:
- Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and date.
- Add all ingredients to the freezer bag. Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal, and mix until the shrimp is well coated.
- Freeze for up to three months.
Air Fryer:
- Allow the meal to thaw overnight in the fridge or in the sink submerged in cold water.
- Place shrimp into an air fryer basket (spacing evenly). Cook in an air fryer at 400F for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the shrimp halfway through.
Stove-Top:
- Allow the meal to thaw overnight in the fridge or in the sink submerged in cold water.
- Over medium-high heat, add the thawed contents of the freezer bag to the hot pan.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, turning once midway, until the shrimp is pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
Serving Suggestions:
- Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Serve immediately.
- Serve with rice pilaf, fresh or roasted veggies, in shrimp tacos, or over pasta with some crusty garlic bread.
