Instructions
Supplies:
1 Quart Freezer Bag, 1 Gallon Freezer Bag
To Freeze and Cook Later:
Add salmon to the gallon freezer bag.
In a separate quart bag, add the remaining ingredients. Seal the bag and mix well.
Pour half of the sauce mixture into a gallon freezer bag with the salmon filets. Keep the remaining sauce in quart bag.
Carefully remove as much air as possible from both bags, seal, and freeze for up to three months. You can staple the bags together to prevent them from getting separated.
Air Fryer:
Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge OR in the sink submerged in cold water.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment and spray lightly with oil. Add salmon.
Cook at 400 F for 7-9 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the internal temperature reaches 145F and the salmon is opaque and flaky when pulled apart with a fork. Serve immediately.
Oven:
Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge OR in the sink submerged in cold water.
Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with oil.
Arrange the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 F and the salmon is opaque and flaky when pulled apart with a fork. If desired, broil the last 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
Additional Instructions:
Pour the reserved sauce mixture into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1-1 ½ minutes until boiling. You can also pour the sauce into a small sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until reduced by half.
Serve salmon topped with reserved sauce with a side of your favorite rice and asparagus, broccoli, roasted potatoes, green beans, or roasted Brussels sprouts.
