EQUIPMENT

1 Gallon Freezer Bag

Ingredients

Add to Gallon Freezer Bag

2 lb Beef Chuck Roast or Pot Roast fat trimmed
1 Lime juiced
1/2 (4 oz) can Diced Green Chilies
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
1-3 tsp Diced Chipotle Peppers in Adobo depending on heat preference
1/2 tsp Beef Bouillon
2 Bay Leaves
2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Ground Cloves

Add Day of Cooking:

1/2 cup Water

Instructions

To Freeze and Cook Later:

Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and date.
Add all ingredients to the freezer bag.
Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal, and freeze for up to three months.

Slow Cooker:

Empty the thawed contents of the bag into a slow cooker and add 1/2 cup Water.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-7 hours.

Pressure Cooker:

Empty the frozen contents of the bag into a pressure cooker and add 1/2 cup Water.
Turn the pressure to high and cook for 60 minutes, with natural pressure release.

Additional Instructions:

Remove Bay leaves. Shred beef and return to pot and mix into sauce.
This meat can be used to make tacos, burritos, enchiladas, salads, and taquitos – the possibilities are endless!
