Balsamic Herb Chicken Marinade

EQUIPMENT

1 Gallon Freezer Bag

Ingredients
  

Add to Gallon Freezer Bag:

  • 2 lb Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/8 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/8 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

To Freeze and Cook Later:

  • Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and date.
  • Add all ingredients to the freezer bag. Mix well so that chicken is evenly coated in spices and oil.
  • Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal and freeze for up to three months.

Grill:

  • Thaw the chicken marinade overnight in the fridge. Pull the thawed chicken out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling.
  • Preheat the grill to 400F.
  • Grill chicken for 4-6 minutes per side or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

Oven:

  • Thaw the chicken marinade overnight in the fridge. Pull the thawed chicken out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking.
  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Place chicken on a greased 9x13-inch baking sheet. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.

Air Fryer:

  • Thaw the chicken marinade overnight in the fridge. Pull the thawed chicken out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before airfrying.
  • Place chicken in an air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 400F for 15 minutes or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 165F.

Additional Instructions:

  • Remove from heat, cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables or a side salad.
