Unstuffed Chicken Cordon Bleu
Making Chicken Cordon Bleu at home is easier than you think, and our recipe is a game-changer. With our amazing unstuffed sheet pan version, you'll never want to go back to the traditional fancy cordon bleu again.
EQUIPMENT
1 Gallon Freezer Bag
Ingredients
Add to gallon freezer bag and massage into chicken:
- 1 1/2 lb Chicken Breasts cut in half to form 2 thinner cutlets
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Add to bag and mix until chicken is well coated:
- 1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Add Day of Cooking:
- 4-8 slices Deli Ham
- 4-8 slices Swiss Cheese
Instructions
To Freeze and Cook Later:
- Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and date.
- Add all ingredients to the bag according to the instructions.
- Carefully remove as much air as possible, seal and freeze for up to three months.
Oven:
- Thaw the meal overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Place breaded chicken onto a greased baking sheet and spray a light coating of non-stick cooking spray onto chicken.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and add Swiss Cheese and Deli Ham on top.4-8 slices Deli Ham, 4-8 slices Swiss Cheese
- Bake for another 10 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve with rice or potatoes and your favorite non-starchy vegetable.
